The colder months can produce some of the biggest fish depending on what species your looking for. flag

I am focusing more on smaller lakes and pond right now. Less than 100 acres in size. The recent warming trends really turns on the bite it seems in those.

The only place I can get bit is the hot water lakes so that's where I go. I try to avoid regular lakes until March because I have no confidence in fishing cold water.

Either out chasing bass or in a heated dock crappie fishing
