Navionics is aggressively working on this matter. Soon Navionics will provide an iOS 4.0 compatible App. Once the correction is made available you will be notified that an update has been released for the chart purchased.

Mary-Ellen,
I have several Navionics Premuim South cards with several different revisions. Could you please post the part numbers along with the revision and years issued.

It would be very helpful to all of us if we knew exactly what we have because so many folks are looking for specific revisions and years. You might want to start a whole new post with just that information so people can search and find it at a later date.

Also on the Humminbird Navionics bundle could you tell us more about the bundle and the the map revisions you get if you buy the bundle. Is it any advantage to buy the bundle and if so why?

Thank you,

Below are the code numbers along with the year of release for the HotMaps Premium South region.

PREM-S6 – 2010 HotMaps Premium South
PREM-S5 – 2009
PREM-S4 – 2008
PREM-S3 – 2007
PREM-S2 – 2006
PREM-S - 2005

What Navionics charts are included in the Humminbird NVB models?
On Humminbird plotter models designated with the NVB suffix (Navionics Value Bundle), Navionics' most important HotMaps Premium lake maps are built into the unit, as well as select marine charts for the continental US. There are no downloads, nor unlock keys needed – just turn the unit on and have full access to over 150 of the most important surveyed lakes offered by Navionics in high-definition (HD) 1' contours, plus complete fishing detail for an additional 8,000 US lakes. The 150 surveyed lakes and 8,000 additional lakes have every bit of detail found in Navionics' various HotMap Premium products. If your specific lake of interest is not included in the Humminbird NVB lake list, additional surveyed and supplemental lakes are available from Navionics retailers on MSD media cartridges that are compatible with your Humminbird model. The Humminbird 900 and 1100-series plotters are also compatible with Navionics HotMaps Platinum lake maps which offer 3D lake bottom views, panoramic pictures and top-down satellite photo overlay for all HD surveyed lakes. Please follow this link for Humminbird NVB lake listing http://www.navionics.com/HUMMINBIRD%20NVB%20LAKE%20LIST.html
Please follow this link for Humminbird NVB marine charts http://www.navionics.com/HUMMINBIRD%20NVB%20MARINE%20COVERAGE.html

The true benefit of having an NVB unit is you will always have built in charting data.
