that usually doesn't work.
Bass lake in central Ca. became infested with Northern pike in the late '80's. in '93 Ca. DFG nuked the whole lake with rotenone, then drained it for 6 months, & re-filled it. 8 months later, lake is full of frogs & northern pike......

San Marcos river is town is full of them. I graduated from Texas State and fished it all the time. I've never caught them with rod and reel, but we used to put a hurting on them bowfishing.
