Moutain Ceek Boat Ramp - 11/14/17 06:06 PM

It's been awhile since I have launched from the Mountain Creek lake boat ramp by DBU. The last time I was there it was a bit sketchy. Has there been any changes?

Still the same ramp... really no issues other than it being so shallow. I can load my 20' Skeeter there solo with no problems, but your darn sure going to get your feet wet.

Still looks like the dump ground for Pampers, needles, roofing materials, junk boats, jet skis,& beer bottle recycling collection point. Sinkhole gets bigger & deeper, a bunch of brick, rocks & sack Crete were put in by some of the guys that have get together tournaments. Same old same old ramp. But I DID see an unbroken MD20/20 bottle the other day. I guess that's the only thing that changed. LOL

I haven't nor anyone I know personally has. Of course we arrive early go fish & we Usually leave fairly early3-4pm. Daylight only. Just needs MAJOR upgrade & at least SOME regular maintenance. A couple streetlights wouldn't hurt anything either.
Most likely that won't happen. Lake is so silted in who knows what it would take to dredge out & rebuild decent sloped ramps.
