Pretty new to salt water fishing. Launching out of aransas pass for fishing this coming Saturday and Sunday. Any advice would be appreciated.

Lived in the area growing up.. Estes flats is awesome, we lived in City By The Sea when I was in high school and fished that area all the time.. It's shallow.

The water is ultra-clear. I swear by flourocarbon leaders. The open water shallow flats are excellent on a high or rising tide. Fish potholes, grasslines, and oyster shell. If you wade, be very wary of stingrays. There are tons. Good luck!
