Hi guys, Will a flats cat,19ft. boat handle big freshwater lakes well? Also I was told they aren't bay boats. Anyone know what this means? Thanks.

My neighbor runs one, it's a good rig for seadrift, but not sure what you want to do with your toy in a big lake.
Here's the scoop...the shallower it can run, the crappier it'll ride. the better it rides, the more water it takes to run in. Pick out what you're going to be doing 75% of the time and buy the best for that purpose, try to compromise and you'll end up with something that won't do anything well.
