I was wondering which beach access would be better to fish at over at surside tx off of bluewater highway? I plan on going surf fishing here soon, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas for the "honey hole" locations where abouts????

fishing is better than work!

I'd say to look for birds as well. That's typically a telltale sign. Hard to really pick out a "honey hole" since the currents and storm systems are always changing the bottom structure.

My advice would be to just bump down the shoreline and fish 10-20 minutes and see if you get any bites casting off the 2nd bar. If you don't get anything, get back in your truck and just go farther down the beach. The fish typically just cruise up and down the shoreline. Usually, it's just a matter of time before you get into them!
