I hate a lack of planning, but I am now scheduled on a late notice trip to Port Aransas area with my wife and grandfather and grandmother, and am looking for a possible guided trip to take for 3-4 people fishing. Hopefully looking to catch reds, flounder, and or trout for the freezer, or bull reds for some fun. I appreciate any and all input from guides or other anglers that can provide current tips or rev commendations of where to go and who to use for a successful trip in the area or within a reasonable drive.

I am heading down Thursday for an office trip, I can give you some reports next Sunday. We have Butch Findley, Gary Cooper and Mitchell Collins booked for a couple of days. We have booked Butch for about the last ten years, he will produce meat for the freezer. He can be a little rough at times. Never been with the other two. I had TFF conversations with Rex Hoyt aka Grinder55, but the planners did not contact him.

Talk with Clint Smith he is always on fish and a good guy to spend the day with on a boat. He is on TFF as well.
