I am hoping to do some surf fishing again in a week or two. And I would like to know what i can do to catch large fish that put up a fight, preferably not sharks. I went down there last weekend and couldn't catch anything but hardheads. Would like to know what the right conditions are for fishing the surf so that doesn't happen again. I think it had something to do with how high the waves were, 4'-5' swells. And how murky the water was. Any advice helps.
