If you are looking into doing some Pier/Bank fishing. Hit Copano Bay Pier (The old bridge) in the evening for some trout under the lights. Hit Goose Island park also, Fulton has some piers as well. There is also a pier in Rockport where you can manage some small specks from time to time. Make the short drive down to Port Aransas and fish Charlies Pasture, the North Jettie, Horace Caldwell Pier on the surf. Tons of good spots to fish in that area. Years ago you could drive down to Estes Flats and that was nice but they have all those little beach acess roads closed down now. TIGHT LINES!!!

Live Croaker and finger mullet will get you into some big trout and reds. Mud Minnows are good also. Carolina rigged hooked through the nose either one of them. Live shrimp under a popping cork, and Pink & Chartruese or Glow in the dark Speck rigs will work from the Copano Pier. Hope the info helps.......
