7/15/2018After taking Saturday night off, I was back on the water tonight with the Tim O. group of 4. Conditions were poor, with South wind at 15-25mph and low tide levels. We got off to a slow start, gigging only 2 fish in the first hour. We had to move around a bunch, and the action got better the later it got. We found about half of our fish holding on grass bottom tonight, a very different pattern than usual. We ended with a 20 flounder limit plus 1 sheepshead and 1 black drum by 1:15am. The flounder were solid tonight, with most in the 17-21" range, and the largest fish were hiding in thick grass bottom. Upcoming open dates: August: 7, 12, 13, 15, 19-23, 26, 28, 29, 31 September: 4-8, 18-21, 23-26, 28, 30Price: $450 for 2 people, $100 each additional person, up to 6 people Capt.
