Was wondering how the shark bite is late July and early August in the surf around the corpus area. Taking our yearly trip July 28th to the 4th anything would be appreciated

I've caught them in bolivar real well that time of the year

Most of the smaller sharks like blacktips will be out chasing the shrimps boats then, but you'll have a chance at hooking a big one still.

Should be okay, but that is a great time for trout in the surf.

Thx for the info hopefully we will find a few anyway. Don't have the gear for anything to big up to bout 6ft Is all I'd really be able to handle.
