In Brownsville for a few days for work. Where are some good places to bank fish while I'm in town

If you don't want to get your feet wet then the old causeway at night. Wade behind the convention center on the island

Where is this place? I don't know the area at all. I was also wondering about the jetties. Are they any good and are they easy to get to?

The causeway is between Pt Isabel and South Padre Island, you'll see the old causeway on the way. Get on the island and go north, couple of miles you'll see convention center on the left, park and wade out to potholes and sand bars.
