Heading to Bolivar next week. Wondering if you guys familiar with the Crystal Beach / Rollover Pass area can suggest any good accessible wade areas. I will fish the surf if it is not to rough. I would just like to have a back up plan in case surf conditions are bad. Also any suggestions on what baits are currently working would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help and I will post results of trip when I return.

At Rollover you can access the surf or the small bay that it made before it feeds into the intracoastal. Just watch out for currents on the bay side.

The pass has a nice channel that you can't see but most of the area has small ditches that feed back into the channel. You should see several people wading both sides.

Go with darker baits unless a front blows thru and then you can change up.

Hope this helps. Be safe
