Winding down after a hard fought weekend with the fish. Although Saturday and Sunday were brutal with the northern that blew in, today however was a lot better. Had limits of redfish along with a few trout and black drum today.

Saturday was extremely tough as our plan was to run and gun. The redfish that we had previously been catching was non existent when the front was blowing in. How ever we managed a small box of reds and trout for the days catch.

Sunday was a little better. The redfish were starting to show back up after being blown out.

Today was great. The winds calmed down and the fish were hungry.

Our redfishing is heating up and ducks are starting to show. Seen my first group of pintails along with several wars of blues wings on the bay.

We are still booking for our upcoming waterfowl season!

What types of areas are you fishing for reds in general if you don't mind me asking? I'm going to Rockport Friday.

Right now we're fishing muddy areas and dirty water.

We're using cut bait for our reds and have been catching our trout on Topwaters and tails!
