Has anyone had confirmation about the Red Ride near PINS and Port Mansfield? I haven't been able to get any confirmations. If it is there, is it moving north or south. Thanks. Trying to plan a trip.

Me too! Port Aransas and South to the PINS Mansfield Cut. Any new news. The 18th info. is the latest I've found.

Just went to TPWD and to their website main page and on the right hand side of the page there is a "red tide update." It does not look good as of yesterday's (22nd) report. My plans for the next 2 weeks are probably not going to include 2 weeks of surf and sand at Mustang Island State Park or PINS or any of the bays in the area. Pygmy whales and ground squirrels are also dying but not confirming red tide as the cause.

Today's catch - no red tide around Rockport.
Wayne & Sheri, 2 limits of specks, 31 inch redfish, 21 inch black drum abd 12 sand trout happy

I was on Mustang Island last week. Work with a man that is leaving Friday for five days of fishing at Port A... Wish I was going with him!
