Hi folks, been fine tuning some of our business focuses these days.
One avenue is doing some recording and want to drop this off and see if we can get some input on the video posted here.
As title says this is an October 2015 open boat tuna charter out of Port Aransas, Texas. Even though this video is a finished product, we are just getting our feet wet on the editing and stuff.
Know the camera angle is crappy, music is lame, partial hat blockage etc, amongst other factors, but asking if the camera clarity is good, video not too shaky/jerky, etc.
Trying to fine tune the videoing and get things looking fairly good. Appreciate any input.

Yeah that hat thing!!!!
Honestly I watched less than a minute and paused it. The hat thing makes to completely unwatchable for me.

Hi Willie. Good times. I think you covered all the low spots.

We miss you doing your thing for the TFF.

Hey Willie, that looks like a blast! I don't have a Go Pro so it's hard for me to give advice but I wonder what it would like to film from your chest instead of your head? I guess you will have to get back on the boat to see. Such a terrible problem... cool

Sometimes you got to bite tongue..................Jig, appreciate the comment, should have had dirty lens on the list of known issues, just forgot to list it.

Guess what I was looking for was if the camera movement/action was not too shaky/jerky, etc. Tried to not move head too much or too sharp.Thought that process was fairly acceptable.

Main reason video was Youtubed was the expert............ no, that's not right........ professional Texas Tuna Two Step down and up the boat to keep lines from tangling. grin

c_w..... it's not a GoPro so the camera holder clips & attachments as well as shape of camera dictates where and how to position camera. Thought about shirt collar, but not stiff enough there to hold camera steady. Top of hat bill is promising, but won't know until actually get out there again. So far land based action is favorable. You'll be getting a CD sometime this summer as soon as we finish up the CD on FFCB. Got to get some summer action for a few spots. Couple spots already video'ed will pop your eyes on the catching.

A1 & fwm0103.....don't know what to tell you, haven't kept up with the 2016 TFF Tuna charter, so I have no idea why T.O.O. would be missed.

Not bad for your first attempt.
Wish we'd have been able to film the Hoo!
I'll bring my GoPro in July.
