Great idea for a Sub-Forum. Hope it takes off.

I thought it was a good idea too. I see a lot of people that can't afford the $$$ to buy or run a large bass boat. I mean hey I too would like to have a big bass boat, but just don't see it in the cards for a long time. I'm looking forward to seeing how others rig out there JB's too!

I think it should be a very good forum. Like Shaun said, not everyone has a big fiberglass bass rig, or saltwater boat. I'm boatless now, but I know my next boat will very likely be Aluminum, as I want something to use in freshwater and shallow saltwater.

Yeah, good job! I'm in process of joining the Green Tin Navy. I'm possibly trading some stuff for a 12 foot Jon boat. I'll probably keep my yak, at least for a while. We may move to the coast around Rockport in the Fall, so that would be a good thin water skiff for the back bays. I enjoy seeing what mods you guys do to make your Jon a functional, frugal bass boat.

Just noticed this addition. I own a 14' 1984 monarch with a 25 hp motor. Great fishing boat. I use it for creek, river, and shallower lake fishing. It goes where my bigger cc boat can't.
Jon boats fill a need that others cannot. I love mine! It has been through the wringer and has a lot of scars. It is a tuff rig.
If I knew how, I would post a pic.

Terry Terry we would love to see pictures. I'll look and see if there are instructions on how to post a picture for ya.

Just found this sub forum.....great idea. Gotta' get a few pics of my boat. Been a real pleasure fixing up an old tin duck boat I bought a few years back. After some work its now a pretty fair bass boat.
