I lucked up on a 2 month old Ride 115x max angler kayak in the flint color. The only thing that has been done to it is two flush mount rod holders.

Give me some ideas on outfitting it. I'm new to kayaks and kayak fishing. I do not plan on fishing offshore, mainly just lakes and maybe rivers.

I have never fished with a fishfinder before. Which one would be best-my budget for electronics is about 150.

I know I also need a light. Which one is best? I would like one that attaches to the gear tracks on the kayak.

I'm 5'5"-paddle recommendations?

I was thinking about changing all the bungee cords out to a different color just to be different.

I've got that same kayak. I would recommend getting a good anchor trolley and a good system for setting your anchor. Lots of ways out there. Check out the forum or YouTube for ideas. Check the forum if anyone has used fish finders. I picked up one and a trolling motor for 50 bucks. People are very generous on here. Things you might also want to add are RAM mounts to add to the front gear tracks so you can put on a gps or rod holders. Does yours have the built in spot for the fish finder with the battery underneath?

I'll let someone more wise than myself chime in on what fish finder I just have a black and white hummingbird but the box us awesome. The anchor trolley and the RAM mounts are a must in my opinion. Then organizing storage would be the next thing to address.

I use an AquaBound Manta Ray Hybrid on my Ride 115, but I'm 6'4" and I like a big blade. You should be using something around 220-230 cm. Check out a Bending Branches Angler Classic. Reasonably light with the fiberglass shaft, and the blade design is very good without being too big.

Werner makes some very good paddles, also.
