Does anyone know of any bag limits on these or if they are good to eat? Thank you.

I don't believe there are any bag limits, and yes, they are just fine to eat. Some say they don't freeze well though.

Gotta serve them fresh. Turn to mush when you freeze them.

Many people look down on sand trout but they are very tasty. They definitely do much better when eaten fresh. I have frozen sand trout and eaten them baked-not fried. They cant stand much handling after they thaw.

Fine table fare, very close to speckled trout. Don't know of a bag limit.

Back when I was using stringers I noticed they didn't last long, got mushy. No problems if put on ice quick.

They are okay to freeze if you vacuum seal them. Freezing them in water will make them mushy when thawed. Pretty tasty when fresh tho.
