Was trying to plan a trip for my dad's 60th. We have gone to Port A/ Rockport in the past.
We have previously gone down to the coast and hired a flounder gigging guide and had a friend take us red/trout/sheephead fishing. It has been a long time since we have been down there. We are no longer in contact with the friend that use to live there.
We have our own boat, a nautic star 244, we should be able to handle the bay, we are set up with lowrance gen 3 electronics as well.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a guide that more so teaches you how to fish, possibly goes on your own boat? Or suggestions on a guide in general.
