Thursday, myself, my old band buddy Mutt, AKA "Olhipi" and his grandson hit north Trinity Bay. It was a very foggy morning and I'm glad we had Bubba to direct us throught he canals to the bay. The bite was good with everything being caught on artificials, and by noon we had caught 2 Sandies, 7 Specs, A nice Redfish and a Flounder, all of which contributed to a very nice dinner. All in all, a nice day and I always enjoy driving down from Austin and seeing and fishing with my old friend.

Good job guys! thumb

Side Note: Looks like it is going to be awhile before Dunlap and the rest of the river lakes settle down. Canyon is letting out more water and more rain is on the way! breakdance

Well done! a Texas SLAM!

May I ask about "canals" in Trinity Bay?. Generally speaking, is that the North end or where? Guess I just don't know Trinity very well. I know of plenty of canals down near West bay etc. richg

regards, richg
