Lots of guys do not know we have a great number of snook in Texas. Down in the Lower Laguna Madre we have a good amount of them. I fish for them year round but find this time of year to be best. We have been smoking them on our trips. This last one we caught 10 or 12 with a bunch over the slot. The trip before that I caught 6 in a hour. I run charters that target these fish with all the right gear to get them in the boat.
