First, let me start by saying I have never had a pleasant experience with dealerships. Often times I find them overbearing, pushy, and in some circumstances – rude as hell. The team at Moritz Chevrolet was very patient and accommodating. Tony Gutierrez was phenomenal. I walked in late on a Sunday evening to check out the Chevrolet Colorado – which is exceedingly popular right now and hard to get. After poking around their Rocky Ridge, I was a little turned off by the trucks as far as what I needed to suit my needs – I had to look to a Silverado. So, I walked into Moritz to see what deals I could find on the 2015 Silverado – preferably a Texas Edition because I’m a red blooded Texan and I want everyone on the road to know that. Previously I had been recommended to find Tony – so I did, and it was the best recommendation I have ever received. Stepped into his office, and got to talk fishing while looking at trucks. I let him know exactly what I wanted, and exactly what I didn’t want – so he narrowed down to about 15 trucks, from there we took a look at a few and narrowed it down to the Tungsten Twins. So, after speaking with him for about 45 minutes I had my truck search narrowed down based on all of my needs: Crew Cab, Texas Edition, Tungsten Metallic, and all of the upgrades possible on a truck. Normally this process with a dealership, in my experience, is relatively smooth – but they pull the old bait and switch and hit you with the, “Whoops, pulled the wrong invoice – this truck is going to cost ya another 6 grand.” I can tell you now – that isn’t Moritz style of business. So, late that Sunday I let him know I needed to get on to watch the UFC fights – there wasn’t hesitation from his end, he let me right out the door…Yes, a dealership that didn’t try to get me stuck in their office until a deal was made. Fast forward a week and a half later I finally got the time to give Tony a ring…it was his day off. At this point in time only one of the Tungsten Twins was available, and I panicked, but Tony confirmed he would come in for me – even though it left him in knee high water with the ol’ lady. Showed up, got the keys, processed everything, talked some more fishing, found even more deals – and moved to finance. Throughout this entire process I was trying vigilantly to find deals on these trucks to keep my cost down – but Tony was always a step ahead of me.

After around 2 hours pass – we move to…finance. No one likes finance – hell, I don’t even think they like themselves. I popped in and out of finance without busting one neck vein, and the hero of the month, Tony Gutierrez, stopped in not once, not twice, not three times, but FOUR times to make sure the finance process was going smoothly and that I would leave there with the best possible deal – and I did. I can tell you now if you are looking for a deal on a Chevrolet vehicle you need to contact Moritz. They will have what you need, and genuinely look out for your best interests. My whole vehicle purchasing process was over in about 3 hours, and there wasn’t a single hiccup in the process. Tony, and the guys at Moritz are seamless. Best part of it – the mysterious man behind the glass – well, he isn’t mysterious at Moritz. They operate with honesty and integrity, and withhold nothing from you. Even if just to browse – get by there, talk some fishing, and check out some vehicles.

TL;DR - Get by Moritz Chevrolet.

I've never dealt with Tony but have bought from Monte, and I can confirm everything you said about the experience at Moritz. Top notch service all around.

Tony came to Moritz after I bought my Equinox. I dealt with Monte and it was the best experience I have ever had buying a vehicle, and at the age of 70, I've bought a few.

And I got several pairs of those gloves and a fistfull of TFF stickers!

Good folks--

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

If I ever bought a new Chevy it would definitely be from Monte. I've never met Tony. Met Monte a couple times. He's a good dude for sure.

I would like to thank Monte again for his help when I purchased the dually in my sig. I actually bought it in Seatle WA coming back from Alaska. Monte looked the deal over and let me know it was a "fair deal". I know he could have given me a better deal but I was 2000 miles away and ready to trade. Folks he's there for you even if he's not part of the deal.

Thanks Monte!

BTW, I've never met Monte, I just sent him a PM and he responded.
