Not real versed in the runs, like several of you are. Will the rain hinder the bite, or will it not effect it? My thoughts are it will muddy up the water and make it tougher?

All depends if there is any major flooding! If major flooding happens this will have a impact on the bite. Also any large amount of rainfall will have a impact on the bite as well. Water conditions will become muddy with swift currents. Just my two cents. 2cents

If we get as much rain as I think we are, it's going to be hard to fish anywhere for a while. But, it should make for incredible fishing after it's over! I don't think you'll be able to find a creek or stream on any lake that's not producing. I'm looking forward to doing some exploring.

They are predicting a downpour which will add water to creeks which are already full. The general rule is it takes 3 days after a heavy rain for the creek to clear and become fishable. The banks will be ultra slick so be very carefull. If the warm weather continues the bite should be great.
