What do y'all throw? It's about that time I buy a new cast net. I've been throwing a 5' 1/4" mesh for about 7 years. I am 6'4" what size do y'all throw?

From the bank I throw a 7' that I bought from Academy.

If you are on a boat it's a lil easier to throw a larger one. I have a saltwater net that opens to 12'.

Most important is that you get a net that is at least 75lb test....some of the smaller ones use 30lb line and it's just too weak to pull off sticks and stumps....

Good luck.
