I am going to be doing some catfishing and beer drinking from the bank this weekend. Never really done it before though.

What kind of rig should I use? Santee? Carolina style?

I will be using my kayak to take the our lines out into the deeper river channel in Lake Whitney.

I like Santee but you might try both and see what works. Let us know how you do!

Day time deep, night time shallow. Other than that, look for structure, wind in your face, etc, etc. Good luck!
