Me and a colleague are scheduled to attend some training in League City May 18-22. I was wondering if anyone had any bank spots we could catch some fish?

They booked us a hotel with a kitchen so we were hoping to have some fresh fish a couple of nights. Neither of us have ever been there so we are both at a loss for where to go or what to fish for. Traveling around the area

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Only place I myself know of is the Kemah bridge. I have not fished there myself but there are plenty that do. If you havent already posted this question in saltwater section I would do so. My brother lives in League City, I will see what he has to say and get back with any info he can give me.

Got a little more info for ya. My bro says Bacliff has a few spots. Bacliff spillway and the 18th street pier. Reds, specs, flounder and sheephead can be caught at those places, the luck is up to you of course, hope this gets ya started anyways.

If baycliff doesn't work out try the Texas City Dike (a few more miles down the road)

It was a different world when we were boys and girls....

Clear Lake Park, Texas City Dike, Moses Lake. I've only fished the dike, but have seen pics of fish caught at all three places.

Everyone should believe in something; I believe Ill go fishing.

Thank you everyone for the tips. I will post a report and hopefully some pics when I return. We will be fishing the evening time so if any TFF'ers in the area want to join PM me.
