I posted this list in the open freshwater area, but I think it's home should be in this forum.  At some point you can't edit the first post, so look at the newer posts for list updates. Thanks. when you say "bank fish" do you mean lake side or below the spillway? Few dams on your list release water anymore,...
I thought Lake Cooper is Wright Patman (same lake, no?)
Lake Tawakoni have not released water in years, and you can't fish lake side from the dam, "Keep Out" signs and fences everywhere.

The pursuit (where are the fish), rigs design and setup, scouting, the awesome feeling of casting your rigs 100+ yards out, the total focus on the fish and the elements, the outdoors... the total exhaustion at the end of your fishing day,... the cooler full of fish to bring home... Yeah, I'm going to miss bank fishing!

Lake Tawakoni have not released water in years, and you can't fish lake side from the dam, "Keep Out" signs and fences everywhere. It`s also called "Jim Chapman Reservoir". Wright Patman is a whole nother lake

Thanks DAM and Fishbonz, yep, now I remember Cooper Lake is also called Jim Chapman Reservoir.

Vances Camp can't be fished from the bank anymore, to many people trashed it out and game warden is there all the time.
If he catches you he will issue ticket, so be careful. You can fish from the river with mno problems, just not the bank.

White Rock Lake is blocked off below the dam..there is always a cop at the corner gas station looking!
You don't always need a boat..
But gosh darn it, sure helps!
