Fellow anglers,
Can anyone help? I won a small 750 watt to 900 watt peak generator from work and was wondering what the best lights I could get for it to fish at night. I was thinking LED but not too sure. Anyone that started off small like this have any suggestions?

You might get a better response on the Open SW board.

I would run a single 500w halogen spotlight. No more than that bc you'll be stressing your genny. JMO. I think most folks along the dike use 500/1000w par cans.

I've heard mixed reviews on LED but do not know the science behind it.

When I was in Freeport 2 weeks ago most of the guys fishing on the jetty were using the par cans. Those things were bright!
