Got a few days to head out next week, live in Fort Worth. Normally fish all out loca lakes. Thinking of trying somewhere new, anyone got any suggestions?

Any lake is plausible, especially since your post suggests you fish most, if not all lakes in the Fort Worth area.

You'd probably want to indicate how far you want to drive.

Addendum: Is pond fishing of any interest? There are probably plenty around you.

Make a drive and fish Ray Roberts state park. Maybe go fish Joe Pool. They have several parks with shoreline available.

If I'm beating the bank, I'll be fishing the ponds in my neighborhood. I've caught a lot of 2 and 3 pounders and have seen kids catch 8 pounders. These kids are maybe 15 or 16 and can straight up fish
