I have caught some nice fish from the BIG lake- there two others but haven't had much luck on them. Chatterbaits and black/blue Senko type in Wacky style.

Are talking talking about the Castle Hills in Carrollton that's a private HOA community?

Yes it is a private HOA community. I fish there at least twice a month. Just be careful and don't get on the golf course property. No kayaks or watercraft of any kind are allowed on the main lake. It is 100% catch & release- there ARE signs to this fact. I just drive in off King Arthur(from Josey) and park on Lady-of-the-Lake street. Do not park on the same side of the street as the houses. Last Sunday morning I was the only one there until around 8am. I go at sunlight.

I thought they had paddle boats on the big lake at one time. I always wanted to kayak it. Oh well....

I have never seen anyone in a watercraft of any kind but..... I also do not see any signs or warnings about watercraft on the main lake. I too would like to kayak that lake. There is some really good structure that runs along the southeast side of the main lake but that is also a fairway and the course marshall has told me a couple of times to get lost- "PRIVATE PROPERTY"! oh well- no one playing that fairway at 6am so I don't understand what's the big deal.
