Any idea if they are releasing water.is below the dam still only open on the weekends?

The area below the dam is open seven days a week. See this link for more information. http://llela.unt.eduAs far as releasing water, they don't put out a schedule but you can check here for the current release rate. They typically only release water in bunches after it rains quite a bit so they haven't released much lately. Note, a release of 250 cfs is just a trickle and doesn't raise the water level any. http://www.swf-wc.usace.army.mil/lewisville/
