When crappie hunting this morning and struck out. Did find four largemouth and two drums, one of which took 10 minutes to land on the light tackle. Beautiful morning to be working the creek.

Pecan. Water was relatively clear. Quite a bit of liter on the shore (plastic bottles, beer cans, etc...); that is disappointing to see.

Heavy rains always bring the trash down stream. You can pick it up and it will return as soon as we get another good rain.

Just north of the Shady Shores/Big Sandy boat ramp. Just south of Camp Copass is the mouth.

Hello all... Just curious if anyone has ever fished around/north of the 380 bridge in the little elm/Aubrey side of the lake for crappie. If so did y'all have luck? Thanks

It can be pretty good some years. 2 years ago it was too dry and last year it was flooded..hoping this year is good.

Ya, sorry about that. That stretch of water is a pretty well kept secret. Google maps doesn't show it and when you drive across it on 380 or 428, you can't see it as they made it invisible.

Creek X is from earlier in the thread lanman71. I think Little Elm creek has never been much of a secret although I don't think I've had a good day fishing there since the fish kill about 2 or 3 years back. I tried two weeks ago and was skunked from the kayak.
