Is fishing in/near a marina a good option for catching some eater catfish?

Right now, find you a super wind-blown point and fish fresh cut shad. Take some soured maize and throw it out, and you should catch plenty for dinner. Or any park/community pond. Range cubes or soured maize.

Eric The community park ponds will be stocked again July 29. Go out early the next morning and you should have no problem getting your limit of 5. The stockers are a nice eating size. Mix 1 cup each of flour, crushed Wheaties and Magic Bait's Dinner Bell Chum with just enough strawberry soda pop to make a very stiff dough. Mold a 1 inch ball around a #8 treble hook, cast out and hold on! We catch some nice eating size catfish at Lynn Creek Marina on Joe Pool Lake.
