I'm at the end of a 5 day break from work and tomorrow is my last day off. I have been fishing the last 4 days with zero luck. I have been to several different spots with the same result. I'm sure the weather is part of it along with my inexperience fishing in the fall/winter.I guess my question is did I miss the great creek fishing everyone has been talking about or has this rainy weather just slowed it down for a few days?
I want to go tomorrow but I'm not sure where to go? I was thinking about Old Alton Bridge but haven't been there in awhile so I'm not sure if its flooded or not. I also read that doe creek off of 380 between Cross Roads and Prosper use to be a hot spot for crappie and sandbass but haven't seen any recent info. Or if you know of a good spot please feel free to shoot me a pm. I live in Denton so anywhere in this area would be great. Thanks in advance.

Hi, see my PM. All of the creeks are in a major flood stage. Old Alton will be messed up too. Unless you are catfishing with a smelly sort of bait fishing will be rough in the muddy high waters.
