Peter, this is probably not the best place to post pictures of dead bass. The culture of today's fishing society fosters catch and release of black bass. This is especially the case in public waters. I am ll for keeping a few fish from time to time but this may not be the best place because this forum is full of trophy bass fishing enthusiasts who cringe at the sight of a dead black bass. Like it or not you just admitted to a crime. if I were you I would delete these photos immediately before one of the many game wardens who frequent this site hone in on you and start asking questions you may not want to answer.

Since a 2x12 is 11.5" in width, and the fish in pic 5 is at a 45 degree angle, I believe we can calculate that this fish is between 16 and 17 inches.

Bassthumb I'm not a trophy angler and I don't cringe at the site of dead bass. I keep plenty from here that are legal size. I was just giving a heads up that these are illegal.

I'm not arguing with you. i think black bass are tasty. I keep them out of the farm ponds we fish.
