Ghost minnows. I used to catch them but they always die and get stiff so quick. Always thought they would make great live bait with the silver strip.

Channel cat will eat em up too. Thread them on a hook and slow drag across the bottom on a sandy/gravel point. Easy to catch these in shallow water sandy bottom, minnow seine.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

That's the magic bait when artificial lures fail. I loved them and you'll catch all species of fish. Hook them on the hook and fish off the bottom. I usually seine them and catch a good number of them. Number one bait in my book.

We used to catch them with minnow jugs and oatmeal for bait. Haven't see any glass minnow jugs in a long time. Not sure if they are even legal anymore but in any case here's how to make some for CHEEP. http://boyslife.org/hobbies-projects/projects/69/make-your-own-minnow-trap/

You need a 1/4 cast net or a seine minnow net.
Yesterday i was at texoma, they didn't come in until sunset 7:30-8:00.
