Hey guys! Hitting Granger with some buds at about 5 am-- we usually always get skunked, maybe 1 cat if anything. Below are the spots we'eve tried with very little luck and was wondering if anyone had tips on where to go for success for once? Thanks!!

catfishing into the wind is the key... wind blows shad up along the banks...

When I was in school at UT we used to bank fish for spawning white bass in the San Gabriel River upstream from Granger Lake. I don't remember the exact location but I think it was near Circleville and may have been in some sort of park because there were plenty of walking trails and the bank fishing was easy. I know the white bass are likely done spawning by now but it was an area that looked super fishy so you could probably catch some largemouth or sunfish as well. Also, there were always some big carp in the water there if that interests you.
