So just how do you thread a bobbin. The thread is too thin and flimsly to work it down the bobbin tube. I tried a dental floss threader but it has a loop and a straight piece and when you stick the straight piece down the tube it stops when the loop touches the top as at that point it is too big. So how do thread the bobbin?

They sell bobbin threaders. I learned that the hard way too, LOL!!!

Start the thread in the tube then suck the other end like a straw. The thread will come through the bobbin.

i make sure its in the tube then suck it out, it works most of the time

You can get a needle threader at a sewing supply, or just make one out of thin wire. Or just tie with monofilament; it's easy to thread.

Sucking it through usually works. I prefer that to a threading tool.
