 Good camping spots with bank access

Well my wife and I are finally going to bust out the tent for this year. Do y'all know any places with good bank access with decent fishing within 1.5 hours of Dallas. Not looking for anything fancy just a place to put a tent and water. Thank you in advance.

Look at state parks in the area. Cedar Hill and Cleburne state parks are both good, reasonably priced, and have campsites right down on the water with decent fishing. State parks near DFW

+1 on cleburne state park.
Another one to not rule out is lake mineral wells state park. If You avoid rush hour on the interstate, you could make it in a little more than 1.5 hrs. They have a lit fishing barge that can be excellent at times, and quite a few camping spots near the water. Haven't been yet this spring but some years the wildflowers are showy if timed right.
