Where can I get magnum flash. Do you guys use much marabou..I bought quite a bit when I first started tying, but noticed right away that the crappie in Southeast Texas preferred hackle. And lastly, what type of hair do you prefer on your jigs. Thanks for all the lessons and pics !I started tying in November 2015 and totally enjoy the tying and catching with my ties.

Cabelas, Janesnetcraft, amazon, barlows, and maybe ole crazy, not sure if he lists it, but he prolly has some layin around. I do use marabou a bunch, more than anything else. And hackle is a great material too. When it comes to hair, it depends on the application. I like bucktail for large toothy critters, arctic fox, and anything else I can pickup on the side of the road for everything else. Lot a guys use synthetics, and kiptail, but I don't use either. The great thing about tying jigs is the sky is the limit!

Not sure where your fishing, but on Toledo Bend in Spring and fall marabou is excellent, matter of fact it's all I use in spring fishing, but once that is done, I use Hackle more, but still use marabou then too and it works just fine.

If you want some Magnum Flash I can get it for you the next time I order? I sell Chenille and Saltwater Neck Hackle, but also will sell small blades for spinners and most anything someone wants if they have time for it to go into one of my orders. PM me if interested as soon I will have to order as I am in the process of setting a guy up in total, meaning Peak Vise, tools and materials so after I get it together it will give him all he needs to tie.

Here's where I go to get my flash;
Magnum Flashabou, 1mm Holographic Tinsel
I get eyes there too.
4mm Super Pearl 3D Holographic Fish Eyes
Excellent prices if you use a lot of either/both. Shipping is a bit slow as it comes by China's postal service (and people think the USPS is slow!)
