While the majority of our Customers come from the DFW or Houston markets, last week I fished three days and all with East Texans! Tuesday morning a threesome from Fairfield had an easy AM with a 75 fish limit of mostly Blues and Thursday a twosome from Kilgore had a 50 fish limit of mostly Channels. A Dad and two older Children from Brenham fished with me yesterday afternoon and had a 40 fish box of Blues and Channels. All fish were caught in the timber on the Richland Arm in 24'-30' FOW on DK's Blood Punch Bait. Interesting that the mix of Blues versus Channels was so different from day to day. Also interesting is that one of the fishermen from Kilgore who swears by Sure Shot Catfish Bait brought some to fish with. After watching his friend catch fish after fish on DK's, he changed to get in on the action. After we had limited, he fished another 15 minutes and finally caught one fish on the Sure Shot. I've tried a lot of Catfish Baits over the years and Danny Kings Blood Punch Bait is by far the best for us on RC! Don't know why, but it is.

We will continue to catch these "Timber Cats" thru February and early March and then switch to the scaly fish (Whites and Hybrids). We also are offering the "WINTER SPECIAL RATE" where three fishermen fish at the two person rate thru February. Give us a call if you want to load the freezer!
