Books now open for Winter/Spring 2016/17 for Cattin Around Adventures Guide Service. For those who do not know me I have fishing Central Texas for over 30 years and guided now for almost 10. I primarily fish Lake Waco. Lake Waco is a 8,500 acre lake located between DFW and Austin right off I35. This lake with the slot limit is quietly producing not just quantity of fish but quality fish as well. We consistently pull trophy blues anywhere from 2' to 80' feet of water. We are also one of the only lakes in Texas with resident wild American Bald Eagles that we see on most trips. They have both man made nesting sights and natural. Not too many places I know of you can set up for old mister whiskers and watch these majestic birds of prey show you where the fish are! This past year I decided to upgrade my charter rig and now clients will be riding in a 220 blue wave with T-top, state of the art electronics, radio system, marine vhf and rigged with Monster rod holders. All trips are 8 hours with all bait and tackle provided. Trips run from $350 to $450 depending on number of people. Here are few pics of last season and the new ride. Contact information is below in signature and you can log onto my facebook page to see all of last winters season along with some great video action!

Great shots..Waco is a pretty lake

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach
