What's better for summer dusk and night fishing. The lake or Willis creek.

If the lake is preferable, anyone know where the thermocline usually sets up?

The lake is usually better for summer time night fishing. We usually fish the mussel beds this time of year, which means we are fishing shallow at night. During the daylight, I look for shad. Find the bait fish and you should find the cats close by. Plus finding the bait fish, you should find the thermocline. Hope this helps and good fishing.
