Went out on Grapevine this evening. Ended up catching around a dozen fish, only kept six. They were all channel cats, four pounds or less. As seems to be the case on Grapevine this year, they all had fat bellies. I was using cut shad as bait, in twelve feet of water.

Katie's Woods high water is open but no parking so it's useless.
I have heard that Murrell Park high water is now open.
Silvercreek might be but not for me. I ain't paying $20 to launch anywhere.
Everything else closed.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

Since they allow overnite camping I assume you can stay out as long as you want to.

Sorry, I forgot to include that I was in my kayak. I was over by Catfish Lane and the boathouses.

I launched my boat at the high water boat ramp in Murrell this afternoon.

I believe all guest are supposed to exit the park by 10pm. The exception would be Marina and restaurant guest. When you camp they give you a tag to hang in your car. The Ranger would stop by and check at night. Because there is no camping I doubt it gets a lot of ranger traffic. The gate opens automatically when you are exiting the park.

Yeah, there's a ramp open somewhere. I went out on my kayak again yesterday and there were powerboats everywhere.

At Murrell you can pull out anytime as long as you have a boat.
