How is this lake for catfishing?
Be a good day trip or just go to Tawokani?

Help but I have heard it was good there-
My brother just moved two miles from that lake so I expect I will be fishing it more

Good for eaters and some teens but I've never done well for large fish, or at least I can't seem to catch them consistently in that lake, one of the regulars that fishi it might be able to provide some insight

It's a good lake to fish. Don't expect a bunch of whoppers but there's fish there. I've fished the lake a few times.

I've caught plenty of fish over 30 lbs
48 lbs personal best, got my new boat rigged up and ready to go.
Went yesterday for first trial run and had one stripping line off while in the rod holder,
Fought him for a while went under boat twice before I handed the rod off to my buddy he fought him just a few seconds then came off. Spent more time catching bait than I did fishing. Lakes real muddy right now from all the recent rain.

 36 lbs. I caught it and met brother terry the same day.

Haha. Its funny you say that. She asked.me where the big net was. I was by my self and just pulled in a 12 lb fish and then hooked up with this one.

I am out there 5-6 days a week usually. It has been slow for me since the lake flooded again. I have been scouting some new spots.I found one that looks promising but my kiddo was ready to go home and the lake and wind was getting rough.
