Thinking $20 or less.
I suspect the better-quality grips are a good bit more, but this is for a budget-minded gift suggestion, for myself. If that makes sense.

I use Team Catfish grips and I like them, they are good durable grips. There are similar grips that I haven't tried so maybe someone who uses them will chime in with there feedback. I have tried the cheaper version of the Bogo grips from bass pro and they didn't last very long at all, personally I would not recommend them, if I was in the market to get another set of grips then I would get another pair of TC grips because for me they have served there purpose well and still going strong.

Look on Amazon at Berkley Lip grip in stainless steel for about $15 no tax and free shipping. I have two sets that are over 10 years old and have been used plenty. I've also had several sets of the plastic grips break.

If your going to buy plastic grips, the only ones to buy are the team catfish grips. I don't know the difference in them but I have used the ones from bass pro, cabellas etc, they look the same but they do not last like the TC ones do. My two pair are at least five years old and still going strong.

"The Fish Grips" from Bottom Dwellers have worked great for me the last few years and they were only $12.95.

I have 2 sert they are great well built and a i not easye on my gear at all at all and they were not expensive at all
