Ok I know this is probably not gonna happen, but I figured there's no harm in asking. Does anyone have any suggestions on somewhere I could camp along the water where I could fish from the campsite (or close to it), that isn't going to be insanely packed with a bunch of drunk memorial day partiers. I know of plenty of places to camp along the water but they are all going to be packed this weekend.

Have you looked at the parks on Lake Lavon?
Alcohol is not allowed. People still drink, just not flamboyantly. Police do patrol through the campsites.
