Going to be headed to lake Amistad this weekend to try some fishing. Any advice where to start would be greatly appreciated. This is a huge lake, and I have never been there before. Going to mainly focus on catfish, but any advice is appreciated. May also set a few juglines.

well with all this lake is like most the other and its a bit high i would first target the newly flooded bushes and vegetational .

fish castle canyon area. under the houses on the cliff. i set jug lines out and did pretty good. stop by three rivers rv park. really nice lady owns that place and has live bait. they also make an awesome hamburger.
